Michael Sandifer

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

Michael Sandifer founded Bear Services Group in 2024 and serves as the President and Founder. His technical and procedural experience in telecommunications infrastructure projects, project management, and business operations spans over 30 years working for a carrier, a service provider/project and construction management company and an engineering firm.

Michael’s most recent experience including establishing the Southeast market for French & Parrello Associates, where he established client accounts and lead a regional team in project management and engineering throughout Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and the Carolinas. In his prior role, responsibilities included the fiscal operations of the company and the day-to-day functional operations of Excell’s Construction Services division. Prior to joining Excell Communications in 2002, he held various management positions at Verizon Wireless within real estate and network implementation for cell sites in Tennessee and Alabama. During his tenure at Verizon, in 1999-2000, he also served as the Network Team Leader for the transition of over 2,300 GTEW owned towers to Crown Castle.

Additionally, Michael has served in various leadership roles for more than 25 years and is active in a number of organizations and remains passionate about serving and giving back to our industry. He has been most active in the Alabama Wireless Association (AWA), where he serves as the association’s President. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Cain & Bultman, Inc., is a member of the Tennessee and Georgia Wireless Associations and is a former member of the Board of Directors for The Bell Center for Early Intervention. Michael holds a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University.

Michael enjoys skiing, golfing, college football, spending time with family and his dog, Copper.

Site Development

Assist with site selection to ensure proposed locations are efficient to best manage cost and time. Conduct or manage all aspects of successful site design and development, ensuring client project objectives and requirements are met.

Project Management

Manage end-to-end infrastructure projects, coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Zoning

Establish a collaborative relationship with governing bodies early in the siting process to identify requirements, concerns, and jointly develop the best path for mutually successful site design.

Network Implementation Support

Complete fulfillment beginning with project scoping and including project forecasting and deployment.

ROW Permitting

Engage directly with jurisdictional and other ROW asset owners to obtain approval for small cell deployment, including detailed traffic control plans, property owner notification, construction and traffic control permitting.

EVCS Deployment

Support clients with preliminary/final site layout, design and permitting of EV charging placement. Efficiently navigate complex regulatory processes associated with permitting and installation approvals.
